Your project is related to inequality problems in Unit 1. Do the best you can and use the hints on the following pages to help you along.

- Feel free to politely ask Mrs. Denney to pause the videos if they are going a little too fast. Afterwards, work on assignments 6.3 and 6.4. There is also a Quiz covering material from everything you've learned in Chapter 6 so far.
- After the videos, you'll have time to work in class. Tuesday will be a work day as well, but you'll need to do your online homework AND your Advertising Project.

Today you are starting a new unit and learning about CIRCLES! You are going to teach yourselves a few things today using your new notes and the steps below.
DO NOT START YOUR HOMEWORK UNTIL YOU HAVE FINISHED ALL THE STEPS BELOW:

1. Go to the Circles Vocabulary Website. Go to pages 2-3 in your notes. Draw in the correct "sketch" of the part of the circle that goes with that vocabulary word.
2. Move to page 4 in your notes and test your understanding of the vocabulary you just learned. Fill in the blanks with the correct letters/symbols.
3. Check your answers on page 4 of your notes by clicking here.
4. Now watch the following video that explains how to measure central angles and inscribed angles.
5. Work through the problems in your notes on pages 5, 6, and 7. You can skip around, but at least do all the odd problems.
6. Check your work! Click the following link to see answers to the problems in the notes. If you are getting most of the right, good job!
7. Do your MathXL Homework! The assignment is 8-1 Circles Introduction.
